	Programs Offered The First Tee of Charlotte is proud to offer a variety of programs for the Charlotte and Mecklenburg County communty. Members of the program will learn valuable Life Skills along with the tools to utilize those skills while on the golf course and in the real world. In addition to our summer programming at the golf course, we offer many enhancement programs to aid our young participants in school and the community focusing on impacting and enhancing the lives of our young people.

	Teeny Tees Program The First Tee of Charlotte introduces its Teeny Tees program. Now our program will serve all of the teeny tees ages 5-8 in the Charlotte/Mecklenburg area. For more information and registration, click below.

	The First Tee Life Skills Experience - Levels What does Par, Birdie and Eagle mean at The First Tee of Charlotte? We offer an amazing Life Skills Experience that enhances the lessons taught both on and off the course. Learn more about the Life Skills Experience and the levels of participation in the program.

The First Tee Life Skills Experience

The First Tee Life Skills Experience is one of the unique features that differentiates The First Tee from many other successful junior golf programs. Through the Life Skills Experience, participants learn valuable lessons about the importance of maintaining a positive attitude; how to make decisions by thinking about the possible consequences and how to define and set goals from the golf course to everyday life.

The First Tee Certification Process

The First Tee wants everyone who completes The First Tee Experience to have acquired basic golf skills and to be able to demonstrate certain fundamental life skill concepts – such as interpersonal communication and the importance of rules and etiquette.

The First Tee Coach

The First Tee Coach Program is an educational training program that prepares staff and volunteers at Chapters of The First Tee to deliver The First Tee Life Skills Experience, which includes the TARGET program, as well as the Par, Birdie, Eagle and Ace levels of certification.

Assistant Coach Training

The First Tee Assistant Coach Training for individuals who want to be more involved with the ongoing coaching and mentoring of The First Tee participants at the Chapter level but may not be able to spend the time required to become recognized as a The First Tee Coach.
